- If you want your fur coat to last longer and not lose its attractiveness, do not hang the bag on your arm.

- Shake off a fur coat that gets caught in rain or snow and carefully hang it on hangers away from a hot stove or radiator. Do not dry wet fur in the sun or over a fire. When the fur is dry, shake the fur coat vigorously, but do not brush it.

- Do not hang a fur coat near a whitewashed wall, lime spoils the fur.

- Undyed fur does not like being next to dyed fur.

- Lightly beat out the dusty fur coat with a bamboo cane. If a lot of dust has accumulated, lay the fur coat on a sheet, fur side down, and beat it out more vigorously.

- It is good to clean white fur with starch, and for shine, wipe it with a rag moistened with vinegar essence.

- Natural fur that has turned yellow with time can be bleached with hydrogen peroxide by adding a few drops of ammonia to it.

- Wash goat products with cold soapy water, then rinse and dry.

- Faux fur can be washed in washing powder, after removing the lining from the item. After thoroughly rinsing the fur coat, roll it up in a sheet, then straighten it and dry it on a hanger.

- White synthetic fur can be turned blue after washing.

- First moisten the matted fur with a sponge and then comb it, being careful not to damage it.

- Grease stains are removed by wiping the fur in one direction with a cloth moistened with purified gasoline or stain remover. You can wash the stains with a solution of washing powder or soap foam. The solution or foam is rubbed into the fur with a brush, being careful not to wet the skin, then the area where the stain was is washed with water at room temperature and dried.

- The place where fur is stored must be dry. Camphor absorbs moisture well, sew it into a bag and put it under your clothes. Change it from time to time. You can use silica gel for these purposes, which you periodically heat in the oven or in a clean frying pan.

- There is no need to put fur items in a chest or suitcase - the fur will wrinkle. They should be stored hanging, sewn into a sheet or packed in cotton or paper bags.

- The closet where things will be hung must first be thoroughly cleaned and ventilated. The closet must be free, otherwise the lint will settle. In the pockets of your fur coat and under the collar, put naphthalene sewn into gauze, or another product that protects it from moths.

- Fur coats should not be sprinkled with mothballs.
